Farah Yurdozu, our Associate Producer, represented the Jerry Pippin Show at the conference, held at the Hilton Washington, DC North this year, as our on-site producer, photographer and interviewer. Below are the interviews conducted by Farah with some of the luminaries of the UFO Disclosure effort as well as some of the conference attendees. As a special treat, we have also included excerpts of the X-Conference Press Conference, which was held on April 25 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. Statement from Steve

The 2nd Annual Exopolitical Expo - X-Conference 2005 - was concluded on Sunday, April 25. The event was produced by Paradigm Research Group. Twenty-six speakers and panelists presented to 450 attendees over three days. It is a unique event which focuses on the political, governmental and social implications of extraterrestrial-related phenomena. It is produced by PRG as part of the emerging activist movement seeking to end a government imposed truth embargo regarding extraterrestrial-related phenomena.

The Keynote Address was given on April 23 by retired Monsignor Corrado Balducci, who spoke in the United States for the first time regarding the religious implications of extraterrestrial beings. Balducci is the highest ranking Catholic official to publicly speak to the question an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race. His views arose from his personal research and do not represent an official position of the Holy See. Nevertheless, they have drawn much interest and debate worldwide.

These awards are given to honor individuals who have demonstrated courage, perseverance and commitment to the pursuit of truth, particularly as applied to the facts known and withheld regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.

Paradigm Research Group calls upon all those who have held or who aspire to leadership of this nation to match these qualities. In particular it calls upon Presidents Carter and Clinton and Senator Hillary Clinton to fully discuss their experience with this issue. And it calls upon former White House chief of staff and presidential aide, John Podesta, to put the issue of extraterrestrial-related phenomena and the truth embargo front and center on the agenda of the Center for American Progress, which is heavily backed by George Soros, a powerful advocate for open government.

Conference Overview

The 2nd Annual X-Conference was held at Gaithersburg, Maryland on April 22-24, 2005. Twenty-six speakers and panelists shared their experiences, gave lectures and organized work shops to 450 attendees in this international event produced by Paradigm Research Group. The general approach of the event which was organized and hosted by Stephen Bassett and Cheryll Jones were subjects such as the government imposed truth embargo - the cover-up, the role of the media in the truth embargo, exopolitical implications of the emerging religious analysis, NASA ,Civilian/Military Pilots, foreign government's posture and actions, MJ-12 Documents, the role of science in the exopolitics of disclosure 46 years of MUFON, the Rockefeller Initiative, Area 51, Phoenix lights: coming out, crash retrievals, underground bases.

In this 3 days event created by Stephen Bassett’s endless dedication to search for the truth, hardworking and realistic approach for the UFOlogy, international leading names of the field brought up their best. Stephen Bassett is not only the executive producer and the host of X-conference. He is also a political activist and columnist, commentator and former Independent candidate for Congress.. He founded the Paradigm Research Group and the writer of the Paradigm Clock website. And he is the Executive Director of the Extraterrestrial Phenomena Political Action Committee.

This year main speakers of the X-Conference were Walter H.Andrus, Monsignor Corrado Balducci, Grant Cameron, Paul Davids, James Deardorff, Richard Dolan, Ann Druffel, Stanton Friedman, John Greenewald, Jr., Charles James Hall, Paola Harris, Michael S. Heiser, PhD, Lynne D. Kitei, MD, Melinda Leslie, Bruce Maccabee, PhD, Jaime Maussan, Michael Salla, PhD, Richard Sauder, PhD, David Sereda, Alfred L. Webre, JD, Robert Wood, PhD and Ryan Wood.

In this perfect 3 days event national and international guests had the opportunity to listen the leading names of international UFOlogy and also watched numerous UFO shootings and pictures. One of the most interesting sides of this conference was the fact that Science, Politics and Religion that shared the same stage. 

SPEAKER INTERVIEWS

Alfred Lambremont Webre, J.D., M.Ed. (Canada) is an author, futurist, lawyer (member of the District of Columbia Bar), peace advocate, environmental activist, space activist and is known as the founding father of exopolitics.

Webre was Director of a proposed 1977 Carter White House ‘off planet culture’ communication project as futurist at Stanford Research Institute. President Jimmy Carter reported his own 1969 UFO encounter, and made a 1976 election campaign promise to create more transparency with the ‘UFO’ issue. This initiative was ended in the fall of 1977 because of the political climate at the time.

Today, Webre is the International Director of the Institute for Cooperation in Space (ICIS), promoting the vision of banning space weapons and transforming the permanent war economy into a peaceful and cooperative space exploration society focused on studying life in the universe.
