Roberta Scott and I will keep this website open and alive so you can still access the old shows. Thanks, everyone. Jane Swartley - jerry@jerrypippin.com (Please let me know if you come across a non-functioning link - I'll fix it right away.)

Jerry's friend, Bostonred brings us a replay of Jerry's tribute to his long time friend of 60 plus years, Jerry Wilhite. Wilhite passed away on Thursday night ( April 21, 2011)
They met as children in Sunday School in Church, attended high school
together, and stayed involved in several business ventures, many
friendship activities and for the past decade, Wilhite's life took many
turns but at one time he was a very successful businessman and always
looked for ways to help out his fellow man. to listen.

Jerry remembers Walter  Cronkite (November 4, 1916 – July 17, 2009)  broadcast journalist, best known as anchorman for the CBS Evening News for 19 years (1962–81). During the heyday of CBS News in the 1960s and 1970s, he was often cited as "the most trusted man in America" after being so named in an opinion poll.[1][2][3] He reported many events from 1937 to 1981, including bombings in World War II; the Nuremberg trials; combat in the Vietnam War;[4] Watergate; the Iran Hostage Crisis; and the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, civil rights pioneer Martin Luther King, Jr., and Beatles musician John Lennon.

Jerry Pippin  1939-2015 He would have been 76, November 25, 2015.

November 25, 1939 is Jerry's birthdate. In November of 1999 he had just begun his internet adventures and on the eve of that birthday he wrote about his plans for the future in the article linked here. I discovered it recently while searching the directory for something else and thought you would find it inspiring as well as being pure Jerry.

By the way, keep in mind that it was written 16 years ago, so some information is dated but I kept it as he wrote it. - Jane Swartley

Autumn in Muskogee
November at Honor Heights Park, is a special time in a special place. I have traveled the country and there are many beautiful places but in my home town of Muskogee over looking the city there is a special garden of beauty known for the Spring Azaleas and the summer sun, but just before winter, this place holds a special place in my heart. It was one of my mother's favorite places and producer Roberta Scott's photos presented in a slide show set to Autumn Leaves is especially beautiful. Enjoy the music and the pictures and I will enjoy the memories of a mother's love that is eternal.
