Oscar Ray, Jerry and Shiron Ray

In this first of a series of programs, which will cover the movie business in general and activities around Dark Motion Pictures in Muskogee, Oklahoma in particular, Jerry visits with the founders of the BareBones Film Festival, Oscar and Shiron Ray. They discuss making movies in the 2lst Century with technology that was not even thought of by movie makers a decade or so ago. The Ray's talk about the Barebones Film Festival in Muskogee and the companion event held each October in Tulsa called "Script to Screen."


Jerry and Don Boner

In the second half hour, Jerry talks with Don Boner, who has had some success with low budget movies including Loser's Lounge, a previous winner in the Muskogee Festival and Bevan Bell, a virtual one man show of movie making. Bell writes his scripts, films the movies, directs his movies, edits his movies, scores the music for his movies and appears in them as well.
