Art Carney

November 4, 1918 - November 10, 2003

Some things improve with age, and that was how I felt about Art Carney in the Honeymooners. It was always good and so was he. But, as reruns continued for years, you looked upon his performance as a fine wine, better with age, and better each time you sampled it.

Today the legend passed. Carney was a great actor, not just a comic actor, but his role in the Honeymooners was his moniker to most folks. He will be missed. GO HERE for some video of Carney in a CBS TV interview plus some cuts from that great comedy series with Jackie Gleason.
