Los Angeles, California Everything Went Silent Then Appeared A Disk Shaped Object

Dates: 1979

Hello my name is (removed), and I use to live in Los Angeles, and my sightings occurred there. The first one was in 1979, and I was 9 years old, and was playing in the backyard with a girl from my neighborhood named (removed). I remember that suddenly everything went silent, no more traffic sounds, birds or people talking, everything seemed to freeze except us, and then something caught our eyes right above us, I remember the sky was gray, because of smog, and this disk was smooth and dark silver, and stood well above the telephone lines, and as sudden as it appeared it was gone, it streaked out of sight. I don't know how long this incident was, maybe a minute. Then everything began to move, and the noise came back. (name removed) suddenly wanted to leave, and go home, she looked like she was about to cry. My friend refused to ever talk about it, even when I saw her 20 years later.

Huntington Park, California Red Disk Shaped Object

Date: 1992 or 1993 Time: 1:00 a.m.

In Huntington Park California, just south of downtown it was a summer night and about 1:00 a.m., when I spotted something hovering over a line of small aircrafts that were landing in a small airport nearby. It was disk shape, red, and had lights that seemed to circle the space craft, but when it took off it flew in a series of awkward angles, straight up, then sideways, and then it got close to our building, then it was gone. I got a strange feeling when it got close like something was sending me a warning, I felt threatened. I know that sounds crazy, but I don't think whatever was maneuvering that space craft was in anyway friendly. I tried to get my husband to come quickly, but he refused to come see. The next morning I found out that 5 other men who were hanging outside in the downstairs apartment had also seen it. They were still talking about, and said they were laughing, because one of them chose to take off home without even saying goodnight Occasionally I would see not just one of these object but up to three watching the small airports activities. A few years later I heard about the sightings in Mexico city, so I know they're watching us.

Los Banos, California Bright Light Breaks Up Into Two

Date: December 17, 2001 Time: 6:15 p.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: On a dark, cold and clear December evening, I decided to pickup my mail. I crossed the street to go to the mailbox. Two friends were standing by the mailbox when we all turned at the same time to look at this bright light in the north sky. It was traveling west to east at a normal jet speed. There was no sound at all and everything seemed so smooth. Suddenly, the light broke off into two lights. One light continued at a slightly changed course to the east and the other made about a 150 degree return back to the west. Again no sound was heard during the breaking up. The lights eventually disappeared into the sky. We just looked at each other and went back into our homes.

Bloomington, Indiana Object Appears To Change Shape - Video

John was at home and looked out his Kitchen window, and seen a reddish/orange object in the sky in front of his house across the road, he went to get his Camera, a Canon L2. and began taping. The object just sat there, then began to move from west to east, and shape shifted in the beginning, and then turned to a solid disk sitting vertical in the sky.

Estrella Mountain, Arizona Lights And Fire At The Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant

Date: February 8, 2005 Time: Approx: 8:21 p.m.

Hello Brian,

I have another Estrella Mountain lights sighting. On February 8, 2005 at approximately 7:30 p.m., Lisa and I went outside and saw some lights low and near the Palo Verde nuclear power plant. I also heard on February 9, 2005 that the plant had a small electrical fire and had to shut down one reactor. Remember the last time we saw this is June 14, 2004 when the other reactor shut down. Weird huh?

The reason we went outside was due to hearing the dogs barking all around the area. The dogs eventually stopped barking. Then the Estrella lights came on ! I taped them and as soon as I was done, not even 30 seconds went by when we heard a car collision. Two cars has a small accident on the road right behind our home. I hopped the wall to see if they were alright but both drivers took off. They left the scene of the accident they were just involved in. It was like we had some strange force that turned on our neighborhood. I didn't want to sound like a nut case for thinking this, but it was too strange.

Then we hear about the electrical fire at the Palo Verde nuclear power plant. There was no sound coming from the power plant, nothing that would let you know that a problem was happening. I do believe that what happens at Palo Verde has these UFO's attention and they will watch from the top of the mountain range and if everything is OK then they disappear.

Kaufman County, Texas Something Flying In The Clouds?

Hi Brian,

I was scanning chemclouds on 02-16-2005 about 2:00 p.m. or so when something got on film..I'm fairly sure this object was positioned about 11 o"clock high when I filmed it,.but not positive..It shows something round and appears to be spinning counterclockwise..I didn't get much of it because at the time I thought it was probably cloud material moving about..After I downloaded it,.I got a better look at it..It still may be a cloud,.but if it is,.it's a very strange cloud..Thought you might like to have a look and see what you think..I'm sending you a video grab to show where to look,.but after you first see it,.it's easy to see..Also sending you the clip and a slowed down version.

Thousand Oaks, California Possible Triangular Craft

Date: February 17, 2005 Time: 8:30 p.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: It was a rainy night with many clouds. I was driving west on Hillcrest in Thousand oaks when I noticed an object hovering over the road in the distance in front of me.

What I saw appeared to be perpendicular to the road I was on. It appeared to be about 500 feet above the road. At first I thought it was an airlift helicopter getting ready to land to transport an accident victim. As I got closer I became more intrigued. The closer I got the more spooky it felt.The object had a dull bluish lights at either end and what appeared to be a orangish beam of light coming from somewhere in the middle. What was weird was that unlike an ordinary helicopter spotlight this was very dull once I got closer to the object. As I got almost directly underneath it I realized the object was alot closer to the ground than I thought. I could not identify the shape of the object even though it appeared to be 150 - 200 feet above me. The odd part is that when I rolled down my window to listen for an engine it was completely silent. Not a peep coming from it. That was when I realized that something was definitely not right.

I made a left turn onto Rancho road and pulled over to the curb so I could inspect more closely. I noticed the object starting to drift west in a very steady manner. It now appeared that the objects blue lights were on the left and right side and the Orange glowing light was the front in relation to the direction of travel. I appeared to be a triangle shape based on the formation of the lights. I watched it for a few seconds and it started to disappear behind some trees. I put the car in reverse, backed up a few feet, and when I looked back up to object was nowhere to be found in the sky. I even drove back down towards the direction it went and could not see anything in the sky. It was gone.

Spotsylvania County, Virginia Round Glowing Red Or Orange Object

Date: February 17, 2005 Time: 7:45 p.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: I would like to add these photos to the original report I made here in February. I had stated then, they come back and are in this area frequently. I took these on February 17, 2005 and the objects were seen on February 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 2005. I tried photographing them then with only a couple of good shots, but when I was sure I had captured the images, upon reviewing them there was no glowing objects (Unknown why) I do not think these are planes or stealth bombers. They move in erratic, some what gyro scope type movements. These pictures are in focus and what you see is what I saw, Look at the stars in the back ground that are in focus as a reference. The lights glow orange to bright red, as if they are powering up. They go on and off in brightness like a light switch turning out a fluorescent light. I also have a video short of six objects with cars going by me as I was standing next to the road at night/dark and the cars can be used as a focal reference to me not just moving the camera around to make it look as they were moving. So any help with this is appreciated? I can send? Please let me know what you think these objects appear to be to your expertise. I guarantee I have not made any this was filmed with a digital Fuji fine pix 4900 4.3 megapixels with a 2 x add on zoom lens. I was facing to the north west sky here. I will be up loading the pictures to Brian Vike as I send this report. Thanks

South Alabama Daytime Object Excellent Video Footage

Once again I was in the yard today kicked back in a chair having a smoke. Suddenly this object came from directly behind me and passed right over my head moving off to the northwest.The object maintained the same altitude for the course of the sighting, somewhere between 500 to 1000 feet. Its forward speed was that of a small prop plane.The wind was variable with a few high clouds. Having my camera I quickly powered it on and shot video of the object as it moved away from my position. I am attaching a 1.3meg clip of the object.

UFO Over Canton, Texas, Van Zandt County 15 To 20 Witnesses

Date: 1966 Time: Unknown

Message: As one of many people, including the sheriff, who saw a definite UFO over Canton, TX, Van Zandt County in the spring of 1966, I'm surprised to see there are not any records of this on any site I've visited.

An enormous ship sat still over an area near Canton for a good hour with three small ships flying away from and back to the big ship. The big ship had what I would call square windows all the way around it located between the top portion and the bottom portion of the ship. Blue, red and other colored lights rotated counter clockwise in these windows.

The one I call the "mother ship" sat still and there was no sound at all. At lease 15 to 20 of us watched this from the same place. The sheriff made phone calls to senators and to several authorities in an attempt to get someone out there to see what we were seeing. I was 15 at the time and I'll never forget what I saw. My Dad and the sheriff's brother are no longer with us to relate the story but myself, my sister and the sheriff are still living.

The "mother ship" was the size of a city. It was located over the east, southeast side of Canton over farm land rather than over the actual city. We first spotted the small ships coming in from a west, southwest direction. When they flew away from the big ship they went south but curved out to a westerly direction.

Like I said, I was surprised there wasn't an account of this shown somewhere. Now there is.

North West, Bloomington Indiana Black Ball Of Fire

John Tosti, and a friend, were North West of Bloomington, this object appeared in the sky, the video doesn’t show detail, but this craft appears to be on fire, John's partner says he wants to drive up the road to get closer but John said "Hold on lets see what it does", then it, shot off at a high rate of speed, and that was it.

Granite Shoals, Texas Sphere

Date: 1998 Time: 10:00 p.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: I have been searching the internet for reports of sightings that are similar to the objects I observed 7 years ago, during the summer of 1998. I found a number of sightings on this web site that are very similar to what I had observed at that time.

I have never observed a UFO before or after the event I will describe below... this is my only sighting:

I arrived at my home about 10:00 p.m. and grabbed a beer and went outside to relax on the deck behind the house. My wife was working late that night, so I was alone. I set my beer down on the railing of the deck and I was leaning on the railing and looking down at the lake (I have a home on Lake LBJ in Granite Shoals, Texas) when a movement caught my eye over to the left. A water tower is located about 3/4 of a mile away, with a red light on top of it.

I observed two (2) orange globes, orbs, or spheres that were just then rising up from behind the water tower at a slow rate of speed. My first thought was that I was observing two hot-air balloons rising together in unison while firing their burners, which is something I have seen before on several occasions, although not anywhere around Granite Shoals.

However, I was startled when I realized that my first impression was not correct. Both of the spheres were perfectly round and uniformly luminous, unlike a hot-air balloon which is elongated near the bottom and \"flickering\" while being fired.

I have always been curious about UFO sightings, and have tried to keep up to date with UFO research over the years, but I decided that I would remain skeptical until I observed such a phenomenon with my own eyes. I finally got what I wished for in spades!

My adrenaline kicked in and my heart started racing while my mind attempted to correlate this observation with anything that I may have seen before. My internal database was coming up empty, and I experienced the spine-tingling and goose-bumps that accompany the realization of observing something completely unidentifiable and mysterious.

I had a relatively long time to think about it, because I observed these objects for about 90 seconds or longer. I looked around to see if anyone was around on the shoreline so I could point it out and get the benefit of a second eyewitness, but it was pitch dark (no moon, I realized later) and most people are inside at that time of night anyway.

I observed the glowing orange spheres rising in perfect unison slowly into the sky, side by side, then they both zig-zagged in perfect unison twice, then continued straight upward until they reached a very high altitude. Then both spheres disappeared instantly, in unison, as if a light switch had been flipped off.

When they were gone, I collapsed into a chair because my knees had turned to rubber, and I was feeling faint and disoriented from the experience. I kept my eyes fixed on the area where they disappeared, thinking that they might reappear as suddenly as they had disappeared. I waited for about half an hour before I could convince myself that they were not coming back.

I told my wife about the experience when she got home, because she could tell I was visibly shaken and upset. I could not sleep well for several nights afterward because my mind refused to give up on figuring out what I had observed.

I have not spoken of the experience except with a close friend who had seen a UFO before, although he had not observed orange spheres, but rather an object that was more like the triangles that have been reported here and elsewhere.

I am curious to know if anyone else has seen these orange spheres in the Central Texas area, especially around Lake LBJ.

Outside Of Houston, British Columbia Object Hovering Over Farmhouse

Date: Late July or early August 2002 Time: About 9:00 or 10:00 p.m.

Message: I also heard the sounds from one of the sightings on Hungry Hill near Houston in Late July or early August 2002. Up until now I did not want anyone to think I was crazy so I didn't say anything. Late one evening during the Houston Drag Races a flying machine of some sorts hovered directly above my farmhouse for a few minutes. I went out on the patio to look but there was too much fog to see what it was.The sound was unbelievable. It sounded like some kind of turbine that I had never heard before. Very smooth sounding and very close to the roof of my home.

Hi Brian

I think it was about 9:00 or 10:00 PM. It was the same weekend as the Houston Drag Races so there was noise all week end. However I have never heard this type of engine sound before and I have spent most of my career around helicopters and other turbine type engines. This sound was like a high pitched incredibly smooth sounding turbine but nothing I had ever heard before. When I went out side on my patio I could tell it was hovering just over my house but the fog would not let me see it. You could tell by the sound that it was very close to the top of my house. Don't know if I'm particularly happy being one who was close enough to hear it.

Hastings Point, NSW Australia - Unearthly Encounters

Full Description of event/sighting: I have read an article in your archive, dedicated to the mysterious 'Punch Biopsy' markings.

In mid 2002, I woke one morning to find what looked like a spider bite on my right leg. The bite, around the calf-muscle region, was around 7mm to 10mm in diameter.

After reading a number of these related articles, I realized that this marking was very similar to those of other "victims".

After a week, the area became very swollen, and I was admitted to the Hospital Emergency Ward. The doctor summarized it as an 'Infected Insect Bite', and I was given a number of antibiotic medications to use over a number of days.

At the time, the marking was very similar to what other doctors call 'Punch Biopsy', but he believed it was just an infected bite.

I still have a scar of the marking, but it is very difficult to see. I am shocked to see that it is relatively in the same spot as other victims, but it is located on the leg. Maybe there are many more people with this marking, but don't know what it could actually be.

Yes, I believe I may have had contact with extra terrestrials in the past.

I remember when I was about 5 Years of age, and was asleep in bed. I woke up around midnight and saw that I was surrounded by three dark, very tall figures standing around my bed. They were a lot different from a 'Gray'. After I had noticed them, I fell back asleep again. You would think that if you saw something like that, you would be pumped with so much adrenalin that it would be impossible just to fall straight back to sleep. After that experience, I have always had trouble sleeping and was afraid of the dark.

Even today, I still wake at night in terror of something in the dark or outside.

A few years after the incident, I wake up in the morning with scratches and bruises that weren't there the day before, or where I never injured myself.

The most frightening of these cases was when I woke up one morning to find my pillow soaked with blood from a bleeding nose, and my foot broken. I could not have broken my foot by myself, as I didn't realize it the day before, and that day - I had stayed inside playing Nintendo. So, somehow I must have broken my foot in my sleep. At that time, I was around 10.

At that age, I enjoyed science, electronics and space. I would always find time to read a few UFO books from the library. I was interested in UFOs, and sometimes even asked my teachers if they had ever seen any. One teacher said that she thought she had seen one day. She said that three bright lights were flying randomly out on the Horizon. They joined together to form a triangle and flew over her head.

Around the age of 12, I believe I witnessed an alien abduction from my grandmother's house in Murwillumbah, NSW Australia. It was late at night and I had just gone to bed, when on the Horizon I saw a bright light.

It was beaming a spotlight or something down on the area below it. This object was maybe 100 to 200 Meters away from me. At first I thought it was a search Helicopter, but I could not hear any engines. Murwillumbah was a quiet town, mainly populated by quiet, religious people who keep to themselves. I didn't know if anyone was abducted that night, but it would have been very difficult to find out as everyone rarely speaks. Most people live by themselves.

One day I asked my grandmother if she believed in UFOs. My grandmother is strictly religious, but she told me of one of her experiences with what she believes to be a UFO. Apparently she was driving with her daughter about 12 years ago from today, when she noticed lights following her down the road.

She told me that there was no one around, and the area she was driving in was deserted. She said the lights followed her a couple of kilometers down the road, before rocketing off and flying over her. Being strictly religious, she then told me that the Devil controls the airways, and that they are demons trying to change our beliefs.

Fortunately, I am atheist.

Even the most religious parts of my family believe in UFOs! During that time, I have had dreams of aliens, dreams of meteors striking the earth and other similar things. I currently live on the Gold Coast, which is 300Km from Hastings Point, but every one of these strange dreams occurs at Hastings Point.

I didn't really think much of UFOs until I visited your website. Then I realized that I might have had an encounter. Before I visited, I didn't understand why or how things like this happen. Now I know a reason.

My friends and family think I am crazy, pursuing an impossible belief. But I know that they are ignorant, and do not deserve to believe in something such as this.

I have the proof, the videos and pictures - but they turn their nose up and mock me.

This is the way life is. Sadly, it is bread into society that things like this are foolish. UFOs and Conspiracies are just fads that people make up.

If a conspiracy had evidence, it has the right to be believed and is equal to the other side of the story - making it an opinion.

So many people today believe in UFOs, so many that the UFO side of the story is more prominent than the belief that there are none. Every day, there are more and more people with evidence, but there are always more and more people opposing it. If only people could see the truth - what really lurks in the dark, then we would finally see what is right.

I'd like to thank you for your time, and your great website that has shown me that there are other like minded people out there that share the same opinions as I and that know the truth.

Now I know that I do have a voice.

Saint-Georges de Beauce, Quebec Four Orange Lights

Date: March 19, 2004 Time: Approx: 9:10

Location of Sighting: At home in the city. Number of witnesses: 9 Number of objects: 4 Shape of objects: Orange lights.

Full Description of event/sighting: It was about 9:10 at night when the phone rang. It was my daughter. She asked me to go out and to look at the sky, I did this immediately. What I've seen has totally captivated me! I screamed at my wife and at my youngest daughter to get out of home, so they can see that.

Our eyes where locked at the sky and we saw 4 orange lights that slowly traveling the sky toward west direction, of our geographic position. They were keeping a precise distance between them.

My wife bring me my little binoculars and I saw a little more closer. It was like ovals objects, and the center of theses things seemed to be of a metallic gray. Each objects was surrounded by a orange luminous hallow. Theses objects were disappeared one by one like if they extinguished.

I'm a rational and moderate men, but this observation made me realize that the more skeptical persons can be confuse.

P.S: (I speak mostly in French, so, sorry if this text have some mistakes) I've decide to contact you about what we saw because I think that your site is one of the most serious and professional that I found.

Spotsylvania County, Virginia Two Disc's Glowing Just On The Horizon - Filmed

Date: January 19, 2005 Time: 3:30 a.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was surfing the web late on January 19, 2005 when I remembered I had left a kerosene can I had filled that night to heat our home with. It was still outside in my van and as I went to retrieve it, I saw the two objects glowing just on the horizon, about 1-2 miles away again. I have seen them many times before this past summer in this same spot and did not have my camera handy. I assumed in the past that they were planes? This particular night I did have my digital camera close by and went to my porch and took this amazing photo. I can send you a digital picture to any email address you wish, this is no hoax. This pair of UFO's was there for about 10 minuets and one ascended down to the ground and the other was hovering above tree tops.

From the photo it appears to be a disc and has a reddish orange glow. This is a must see photo! The picture of the disc is really great with no blur, there however is from my movement a spot on the left side of the disc that is a little out of line still very clear. Please email and I will send you a picture? I do not want my name published and would like to remain anonymous. Please take this sighting seriously.

Mesa, Arizona Possible Triangle Sighting

Date: February 1, 2005 Time: 00:50

Location of Sighting: Mesa, between Crismond and Ellsworth on Brown Rd. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: I think it was a triangle.

Full Description of event/sighting: On the way home from work I noticed a bright red light and it was moving very slow. After about 2 minutes of driving and watching it a bright blue light appeared right next to it (same size). The lights looked like police lights when a police officer pulls you over. Anyways, the object was moving really slow and it was heading Southeast. After about 2-3 minutes the blue light disappeared and another red light appeared in front of the other red light that was lit the whole time. I wasn't very far away from me but far enough where I couldn't tell if the lights were separate or part of the same object. In my personal opinion I believe it was a triangle sighting.

Myself and a friend of mine work the second shift and have been reading up on these triangles and I have seen some rendered images and I do believe these lights were part of the triangle object that has been seen all over the world. I know for a fact that it was not a plane or a helicopter. It moved too slow. I also know for a fact that it was not a Dirigible because I have seen them before at night and they illuminate the whole object. This was definitely something else and it was pretty intense to watch. After about 15 minutes the object still heading southeast was pretty much almost out of my site. At this time I got home and was able to watch it from my home. From my home it could have been mistaken for a airplane but when I was driving home and it was much closer I knew it was not a plane or helicopter. The colors looked alot like the images I have seen lately regarding triangle sightings.

Calgary, Alberta Electronic Humming Noise

Date: February 1, 2005 Time: Between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.

I was reading from one other person on here who was in Fredericton NB Back in 1985 they said they heard a electronic humming noise. Last night when I was on the pc here, it was between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. I was playing my games at pogo.com. It was quiet because my mother was sleeping. Well I heard this noise that sounded quite like that. I looked outside and our backyard light went on and made me jump. But the noise would rise and fall.

The humming was really weird. This only lasted I think was between 1 and not even 4 minutes. I'm in Calgary in the SW part of Haysboro. I cant seem to get the noise out of my head. Because of last night I couldn't sleep, and when I did get to sleep, waking up in the AM as I had a really bad headache. The skies last night was very cloudy because we get Chinooks. And last night there weren't any this time (Chinooks). The clouds looked as if it was going to snow, but it didn't. Today Feb 2nd I saw what looked like storm clouds, My mother pointed out to me about the chemtrail that this one plane looked very dark, even tho it was not very sunny out today. I have never seen dark chemtrails before so I'm wondering if that's normal or not.

Wabasca, Alberta Close Encounter With A Saucer Shaped Craft

Date: October 7, 1979 Time: Evening

Number of witnesses: Four experienced, Mass sighting. Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Saucer shaped.

Full Description of event/sighting: There were 4 of us. All different ages. Youngest being 9 months old, oldest being 14 years old.

Our close encounter began in the evening. We saw lights hitting the walls of the home. Then the loud intense high/low frequency was filling my ears. I looked out the window and saw the underside of a huge saucer shaped craft. It was approx. 20-30 feet above us. The small trailer we were in began shaking violently. We were all screaming and crying. One of my brothers disappeared. We screamed for him. We noticed the Trailer door opened as we yelled his name.

The next thing I remember is looking out the window again and seeing the craft hovering above the Wabasca Lake, a few hundred yards away from my grandmother's yard. It was Saucer shaped with a belt of colored lights/rays coming from the midsection of the craft. The belt of lights rotated around the craft as it hovered in one spot.

My brother was back sitting on the couch and my mother walked in. But my other brother was in his walker crying hysterically. Moments later, my baby brother (9 months old) started to have a major convulsion and he stopped breathing. He was revived after approx. 5 minutes of not breathing and rushed to the Slave Lake Hospital where he was admitted.

After doing some research to this event, I found out that there were Many people who witnessed this night---as well as many other nights. RCMP were called out to numerous sightings, but the will not disclose any information to me.

Queensland, Australia Object Lands And Starts Rotating

Date: Approx: 1979 Time: Evening

I was travelling through outback Queensland with 2 friends in approx 1979, it was a clear, star-filled night sky, I was driving while my friends slept and it was in the early hours.

In the distance (10 miles) I could see the outline of a mountain range against the sky dead ahead, on top of the mountain was a flashing light which at the time I thought must have been some kind of beacon to warn aircraft.

All of a sudden the light lifted up from the mountain several hundred feet and stopped. At this time I thought it was a helicopter, as grazers use alot of them in outback Australia for mustering cattle and general transport.

I remember thinking at the time that it was awfully late to be flying a chopper.

The next thing I saw was the light streak west across the sky in a semi circle to my left, it travelled approx 20 miles in no more than 3 seconds and then stopped dead at an altitude of several hundred feet. By this time I had yelled at my friends to wake up and "check this out".

The object then descended into the bush approx 4 miles from our position, we stopped the car, I grabbed my 12g pump and we got on the roof of the car to get a better look through the trees.

Once the object had "landed" it started to rotate, and what I could only describe as (2) car headlights, slowly rotated in a fashion similar to the spotlight at airports.

We watched this for maybe 4 rotations when the lights stopped facing directly at "us"?

I don't know what it was but we all looked at each other, not a word was said and with a cold chill running up our spines, we jumped off the roof and into the car and got the hell out of there!

There was not then and is not now any aircraft that could traverse those distances in that space of time / at that speed, stop in a instant and use VTOL (vertical takeoff & landing) technology. What we saw was not "local" I assure you.

Australia The Min Min Lights

Date: Approx: 1979 Time: Evening

Australian Aboriginals talk freely of a phenomenon in the Australian bush called The Min Min Lights, strange lights that follow cars, people, they are said to have some otherworldly significance.

During the same around Australia journey with my friends we were hundreds of miles from my other tale of intrigue and once again I was doing the driving ( I love driving and it was my car) whilst my companions slept.

We were travelling along a dead straight bitumen road miles from anywhere when I saw a set of (once again) what appeared to be car headlights come on as I was approaching (1/2 mile) a cutout in a small hill where the road passes through.

At the time I thought "what would anyone be doing up there?", as the "car" appeared to be up on top of one side of the cutout maybe 60 feet above the road.

As I approached the cutout (50 yards) the lights went out, however in the second or two that it took me to get to the site in question the "car" had disappeared??

I remember thinking "that is plain weird" but not as weird as what happened next.

Just after I passed the point where I saw there was nothing where the "lights" had been, the "lights" were now facing me from behind and were as plain as day in my rearview mirror????????????? Go Figure!

Bloomington, Indiana Unusual Lights Filmed

Date: January 14, 2004 Time: 11:50 p.m.

Basically, we sat on a secluded gravel road after following/being followed by this craft all night, I was off taping, what looked like a plane, but the lights were in the wrong places. If it was a plane, then it was flying backwards.

That is when Dogs or coyotes started howling like they were in pain, lots of them! Then John calls out, something along the line "Holy Crap", there's one right there!" I stumbled gracefully over to brace myself behind the car, the object below, rose up about 100 yards away, it started glowing a bright white and orange. As it rose up, it started to move right behind the treetops, then began to dim down to a pulsing light, as it did this, the dogs quieted down, and it moved more to the right, or east we were to the south of it, then just hovered, it was to dim for my camera, Alice and John continued to watch it.

Now, after this we went back to this spot a few times, roads circle the area, and its in a valley, so it had to be on the ground when it began to rise, it made no sound, just the dogs, and the lights.

Kaufman County, Texas Weird Glowing Object Caught On Film

Date: November 4, 2004 Time: Between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Hi Brian,

I took this clip of a glowing object on 11-04-2004 between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. There were a few clouds in the area that the jets left, but all in all it was nearly clear. I was observing the stars and I noticed one of them moving. I didn't get much of it because it was moving fairly fast, (probably twice as fast as a jet, guessing), but I got it passing a couple of jet clouds and some stars. I couldn't tell for sure if it was above or below the clouds since it just went by them. It seemed to me to be self-illuminated and I didn't see any other lights on it for it to be some type of normal aircraft.

I was going to send you this clip anyway, but I really hadn't noticed why this orb was moving erratically till I slowed it down and went frame by frame. I taped this on 11-06-2004 approximately 3:00 p.m. and while I was taping the jet,.I saw this orb coming down the trail like it was drunk for not a better word,.lol..Anyway I went frame by frame and saw the jet lined directly up with the orb, nose to nose. I think the jet hit it, see what you think.

Georgia, Eatonton Georgia Red Colored Light

Date: Approx: January 2, 2005 Time: Between 5:00 and 5:30 am.

Hey, I saw this a few nights ago. The next day I saw some reports on the net about others seeing it. I thought....WOW! That's what I saw this morning before daylight. I woke up and saw it out my bedroom window. My curtain was pulled back because we have an air-condition in the window.

Additional Information:

It was clear, cause I could see the stars. Didn't hear any wind. It was in the East. I would try to explain it this way, as to where it was located in the sky. Try a quarter way up from the horizon. say like 3/4 from being straight overhead. Understand? lol I guess that falls under "somewhere in between".

When I first spotted it, it was not moving, just there, staying in one spot the whole time that I was wondering what it was .. After about 10 minutes, I'd decided it must be a reflection somehow of the night light in my room, but then I said, no, it couldn't be. Why would it be that color and that big. That's when it started to move away. It must have been going back into space because it did not move left or right, nor up or down. It just got smaller and smaller until it disappeared and looked like a normal star again. It was gone in seconds, so I'd say it was moving pretty fast.

As far as I could tell, there was only one light. Didn't see any twinkling or anything.

Well, I can tell ya it was round. Size....I compare it this way. To me the starts look about the size of the top of a straight pin. Compared, this strange light was the size of a baseball. As for distance, I guess it was alot closer than the stars since it disappeared into them as it got smaller. However, it was not close enough to tell anything about it except for shape and color. It was a very bright reddish orange color like your picture I saw on rense.com, but it didn't leave a trail when it left. As for texture, I can only say, It was a light and I could not see through it. I don't know if it made any sound or not. I didn't hear anything, but then, my air-condition fan was on and does make a bit of noise.

Q. - Describe the area in which you made the sighting. Is it near an airport? An Air Force Base? A military or research installation of any kind?

A. - No

Q. - Did the light or lights move erratically around the sky ?

A. - No

Q. - Were they in a formation of sorts ?

A. - Well, now let's see.....Ya know it could have been 3 lights so close together that it seemed like one light. The outer part of the round light was darker than the inside. But on that, I can't be sure. I've never seen anything out of the ordinary before and was not prepared to get details. I was shocked and just trying to figure out what it was.

Q. - If there is anything else you can add this would be wonderful.

A. - I can only add.......that I saw it again this morning around 5:30. At least I think that was it. This time it was farther away, I guess. It was much smaller and just red in color. By the time I got up to pull back the curtain some more.....well, it was just gone. If I get to see it again.....I think I'll be prepared this time.

Kaufman County, Texas Brilliant Object Caught On Film

Date: January 6, 2005 Time: Approximately 6:30 p.m

Hi Brian,

I'm sending you the most recent sighting of the several glowing objects I've been taping that was on 01-06-2005 at approximately 6:30 p.m.The jets keep us covered with clouds most of the time here lately, but every three or four days it clears up enough to do some night time sky-watching. I noticed this object which was just over the tree line and it was a glowing blue/white light looking at it with my eyes. It was going toward the southwest, really couldn't tell how fast it was going, but not to terribly fast. I didn't see any blinking lights on it and I knew it wasn't some type of conventional aircraft. I zoomed in on it trying to see if I could determine some shape to it but really couldn't tell. This sighting was over a minute long so I'm sending you two clips, one at a time, of all of it. I backed up the second clip back into the first a little, so you could see they are both the same object. I'll be working on the others to send you soon...Later my friend

Surrey, B. C. Object Appeared To Look Like A Metallic Disk

Date: January 11, 2005 Time: Early morning

Hi Brian, Sky is fairly clear tonight again, so pointed my camera north at about a 45 degree angle, set at about 20X optical. When I checked the tape later saw a few of the usual blips of light plus what appeared to be a satellite heading in a SW direction, it was not very bright but I tried zooming in on it just for curiosities sake. It looked a bit like a metallic disk but have my doubts, still think it just satellite.

Additional Information:

I would guess the first object would not have been any further north than the Fraser River. In the video its hard to tell but it appears to be larger than a commercial jet such as a 737 but similar in size to a 747 on approach to the airport.

Portland, Oregon Two Bright Objects Filmed

Date: January 11, 2005 Time: 7:35 a.m.

Brian,

Driving to work in Portland, OR on 1/11/2005 at 7:35 am I saw two bright objects just above the eastern horizon. They were much brighter at first before they sank into the distant haze that you see in the pictures.

However, I could not photograph them at first sight due to being on the freeway at A.M. rush hour.

The first picture PICT8356.JPG was a very lucky shot, even though the camera autofocused on the shrubs in the foreground, you can still see a greenish caste to the objects. Seems like I have reported green objects to you before.

The day was just dawning and was nearly cloudless. Very rare to see the blue sky anymore.

The objects were moving to the east away from me, how fast I cannot say. They held in view for about nine minutes, so could not have been moving too fast.

The 40x zoomed in picture 8369 shows a 4 lobed structure in or around the object. This is the brighter of the two, or upper one.

Files I send are full size with text added. I think the objects were very far away, several miles at least, therefore very large.

The dark object in Pict8362 & -63 seems to have a halo around it as well and is similarly sized to the brights.

Surrey To Coquitlam, B.C. Large Bright White Object

Date: January 11, 2005 Time: Approx: 7:15 p.m.

At approx. 19:15 a large bright white object went across the screen faster then a normal plane. When I checked found it to consist of three sections two narrow ones on the outsides and a larger one in the center each section appeared to be made up of eight overlapping rectangles. There also appeared to be flashing lights on the narrow sections which made a large bulge when they came on about every few frames. There was also a triangle of light which appeared just to one side for a few frames. I tried drawing it but did not do a very good job but it will give you a rough idea. There appeared to be beams of light or exhaust coming from both ends and a glow around the whole object.

About 25 minutes later object number 2 flew north across the screen also faster then a plane and making a fairly sharp turn towards the west. At first I thought it was the same object but when I checked found it to be composed of three smooth oval shapes with out the jagged edges of the earlier one. The one on the left appeared to have a slight bluish tinge to it while the right one had a slight pinkish tinge, center section was bright white, I can’t duplicate the tinge so left them mainly white. Appeared to be exhaust or beams of lights coming from both ends of this object also. If they were lights then they were backwards, converging to a point instead of fanning out. I thought they might possibly be planes but my window was open and there was no sound from them although I heard a large jet going over right after the first one went by but at the speed it was going it would have been long gone. I also tried taping a couple of jets which went over a little while later and they didn’t look anything like the two earlier objects.

Additional information:

The second object came across Surrey from the south then appeared to be turning west over Coquitlam, it appeared to be about half the size of the first one but that might just have been because it was further away. I am surprised I didn't see them with my eyes as they were really bright, much brighter than any planes I've seen. But I was playing Pacman when the first went by and watching TV when the second passed. I had to move my computer desk so now have to turn sideways to see out the window. Anyway when my wife came home I showed the tape to her and she said that they looked just like what she used to see flying over Fiji headed towards Australia.

Date: Events started at the end of July, beginning of August 2004
Time: Events started roughly at 10:00 p.m.

HBCC UFO Research was contacted by way of telephone late one evening. A fellow by the name of Shawn, asked me for some help as he and his family were going through a number of unusual experiences, seeing lights/objects which were happening around them on a non stop basis. Shawn was extremely worried for his families safety as any parent would be. His story is below.

Shawn said he and his family have property approximately 30 miles north of Frederic in Wisconsin. But this first incident took place before they had moved into their new home. One night Shawn decided to drive to the local bar to pick up some pizzas for him and his family for dinner. When returning home on the one and a half mile drive he noticed a strange light which was bouncing and zipping across the sky. Shawn knowing this was really unusual, pulled his vehicle off the road and into a gravel pit, turned off the vehicles headlights and sat and watched the light for a short while. After watching this weird light maneuvering all over the sky he decided to drive home quickly to tell his wife, also thinking if the light was still visible he and his wife might get some video footage of it. The couple grabbed the video camera and headed back outside, and sure enough the light was still moving about the night sky. They managed to film it, but later on after reviewing the video on the TV, Shawn told me the light shows up as only a speck. He mentioned that what he used to shoot the footage wasn't professional equipment so the object wasn't showing up very good at all. Plus capturing night footage isn't that easy to begin with.

They recently had purchased the home and it wasn't long after that, that strange lights started showing up in the skies. It was only approximately three weeks after the family settled into their home when Shawn was out on the deck and he again saw this strange light. He said it was primarily white and then would flicker a range of colors, red, blue and green and running all around the white light. He says it would zig zag through the sky and come to a dead stop. He also mentioned that at one point he grabbed a strong flashlight and blinked it off and on in the direction of the weird light. All of a sudden the light flashed back, or Shawn said the light seemed to respond to him actions. He thought, no way, this wasn't happening. He was totally surprised and went back into the home and asked for his daughter's laser pointer. He brought the pointer outside and shone it across the road to where he could see the beam clearly on the trees. Shawn then moved the laser up the trees and just above where the strange light was sitting in the sky. When the red laser light hit the object Shawn tuned the pointer off and on a couple of times until he saw a reaction from the mysterious light which immediately turned a solid red and flickered off and on just like what Shawn was doing with the lazar pointer.

After seeing this, he told his family that it was time to head into the house as this was getting just a little freaky for them. I asked him what distance he felt the light was away from his location at the time he pointed the laser at it. His best "guess" would have put the light at maybe four miles away. Seeing the light was so far from him Shawn was asked if he believed it had actually responded to the laser. He said yes, as later that night the object came down over the property.

While going about their business inside the home Shawn and his wife noticed that something orange was illuminating through their picture window at the east side of the house. Normally it is pitch black and you can't see anything. Shawn went to the window to see what was causing the whole area outside to be lit up. Just outside was a large circular orange ball of light. He described it as being similar to a ball of Jell-O that someone may have punched, as the object was wiggling and oscillating. He said at arms length the object would have been roughly the size of a bowling ball.

He gave a description of the area where the orange ball of light was sitting. He said they live on a pine plantation and his home sits in a notched out area amongst the pine trees. On the east side from his home are six or seven rows of pine trees which have been spaced to allow for better growth. On the back side of the rows of trees there is a pond. This is where the circular orange object was sitting stationary, just over top of the pond, behind the rows of pine trees. He and his wife were looking through the spaced trees to see the object, it was that low. Another point Shawn made was since it was a plantation the lower branches of the trees are limbed which exposes the trunks and this gave them a great view of the object. He said the "thing" was really close, maybe 500 to 600 feet away at the most. The couple were observing this at approximately 11:00 p.m./midnight. The entire area had been lit up due to the object's brightness. Shawn grabbed his video camera and his wife grabbed her digital camera and started taking photos. With the object still stationary over the pond Shawn looked through the view finder on the camera, but saw only blackness. He looked up with his naked eye and the object was still sitting there shining brightly.

His wife took approximately twelve photos of the orange object that night but later after looking at the photos, nothing showed up. It was almost as if her camera stopped functioning properly.

Shawn said all of a sudden he felt a large jolt of electricity surge through his body which almost knocked him backwards to the ground. Both him and his wife panicked after this took place. He asked his wife did she feel that, she said no. At the same time his wife asked him "did you see that?" Shawn said what?????? She replied ... "that thing shot a red light at you." He'd missed seeing the shot of red light because he was busy trying to look through the view finder of the camera.

The frightened couple ran back into the house. As Shawn and his wife made their way upstairs and being visibly shaken up their daughter woke and saw her distressed parents and she got upset. They finally got their daughter settled down and back in bed and to sleep. They were still thinking about what had happened and Shawn decided to have a peep out the window. There, again...... was the same light. While he was watching it Shawn said it looked as if someone was striking metal with an arc welder as the flashes from the object were extremely bright. Also beams of bluish colored light were shooting out from the object and across the families yard. As they watched, looking off to the side of the home they observed what appeared to be at least ten of these similar but smaller lights sitting in the air. Shawn said at this point the wind blew up and literally shook the house and for a while they thought they were going to lose their home due to the strength of the wind. When they saw the ten lit up objects they had no idea if they were all separate objects or one large craft with the different lights on it. It was just to hard to determine Shawn said and he was getting more concerned and scared by the minute.

Shawn said the beams of light were so intense that they lit up the valley. It was approximately 4:00 - 4:30 a.m. when this was taking place and he said three cars drove by on the highway past their home and under the beams of light which were lighting up the entire area. None of the people driving the vehicles seemed to notice what was happening because Shawn said not a brake light came on, nor did the cars slow down even a little. He was concerned and mentioned to his wife, "don't these people see what is going on". The whole episode with the wind, lights and beams lasted for approximately three hours off and on during this time. It became so bad that Shawn, his wife and daughter covered the window in their daughters bedroom and huddled in the corner because they were so scared to look outside.

Eventually the wind died down and Shawn felt he just had to have a look out the window and he noticed all of the lights had disappeared. It looked as if whatever was out there had finally gone. Feeling a little relieved the couple sat in their daughter's room discussing and wondering about what had just taken place. Both weren't able to sleep due to their nerves still rattled, and not wanting to leave their daughter's side they remained in her room.

It was finally silence around them and after about forty five minutes Shawn decided to take one last look out the window. His wife said "please don't". He slowly pulled the curtain aside and saw an object in the shape of a half circle, filled with tiny lights heading off towards the southeast. The family was thankful it was all over and finally they could get some sleep.

On another evening one of Shawn's friends came over for a visit, this friend of his has been witness to a number of unusual happenings around this families home. But on this one particular night Shawn was inside talking with his friend's girlfriend and his buddy was outside watching the sky. Finally his friend walked into the house and said you have to come outside and see what is happening in the sky. When they all went outside and to the west of the home they could see something strange which had a red ball of light at the top and on the bottom. The body of the object was white which extended out leaving the red balls of light sitting in the middle of whatever it was. Shawn's friend told him to look towards the back of the object and a bit in the distance. Looking through a good pair of binoculars Shawn looked, and could see a red colored pyramid shaped object and the object they first observed seemed to be towing the pyramid behind it. As the objects moved towards the east they dropped down behind the tree tops and they all could hear what sounded like a jet aircraft for a brief period of time. Whatever these things were, both had been silent the whole time they were traveling across the sky.

Shawn's wife Robin added her comments to what has been going on at and around their home over the weeks that have gone by. She said they have gone through the process of shock and being overwhelmed to acceptance and as she told us, they will never be able to understand what has been going on. Robin said it is just really bizarre ! She added that being a Christian lady, the unexplainable chain of events has really rocked her world. You think all that you have learned, been taught and believed and yet we don't know what is real anymore. Robin said this was the hardest part for her, not knowing.

Shawn also said that he asked a few people around the area if they have ever witnessed any strange lights and all of the people he spoke to said no and walked away. One person did say he had seen some unusual lights, but went on to say that he doesn't even bother looking up anymore. Shawn didn't want to pursue it any further as he did not want to be known as the crack pot in the community as he was the new fellow in town.

HBCC UFO Research Note: There is a lot more to this experience than I have written here. So much in fact that a fellow investigator by the name of Sam Maranto and colleagues (Illinois, MUFON) will be driving to the families home and spending a couple of days with them to carry out interviews and an investigation. We all are hoping that they will be fortunate enough to get a glimpse of what the family is witnessing. I am sure once they finish up their work with the family they will have a full report.

On 10-20-04 it was about 70 degrees and partly cloudy, at about 10:30 am, I was outside in the back yard checking out the sky

That's when I noticed 2 glowing orbs moving slow under the clouds. I ran in and got my videocam and was able to get them on tape as they were moving from south to north, and then moved up in to the clouds.

One of them looked like it was glowing white and one was glowing red, both were big too, Vary weird.

Wondering if anyone else saw them, they were real low this time.

If anyone who resides or was passing through Phoenix, Arizona on October 20, 2004 and at 10:30 a.m. and did spot these glowing objects would they please contact me, (HBCC UFO Research) or Jeff Willes and file a report.

Avondale, Arizona - Estrella Lights Video Clips

Date: June 16, 2004

Time: Evening

Hello, I writing about the lights found in Avondale, Arizona on June 14th 2004. My girlfriend and I had witness these lights, a string of 17-20. On June 16th I got my video camera out and got some night shot video. 2 light then 4 a quick 5th one then back to 4 then 2 move slowly behind the Estrella Mountain leaving 2 ,one burns out then reappears above where it started. Any help would be wonderful.

You have been the first and the fastest, so I’ll make you this offer I’ll send you a copy not original of what I got. Please check it out for me, To tell you what’s around here we live in Avondale which is to the west of Phoenix, to the west of me less than 2.8 miles is Goodyear airport, to the north of me about 15-20 miles is Luke Air Force Base. Now the base already made a statement of not dropping any flares on that day. You will hear on that news clip that the military have been trying to fly planes near them but the lights go out. On my video between me and the activity a plane with the flashing FAA light goes through the shot, about 34 through the tape. I never timed the whole event but its about 5-8 minutes. Write back so I can get an address to send this tape.

Daylight Disc Captured on video by Mark in British Columbia

Hi -- the video was taken Aug.11, 2003. My wife spotted something in the corner of her eye, while she was in the kitchen around 6:20pm. ( Pacific Standard Time). She went out on the deck. She saw a round object hovering over the trees. She said it flipped over, and it turned bright blood red. She yelled for me, and I came out and saw a cigar shaped object. I then ran back inside to get my new camcorder, and when I looked, I could see it with the naked eye. I pointed the camcorder. I had a hard time locating it at first. It was flying very fast, and I had a hard time keeping up with it while looking in the view screen. I was shocked, I thought it was a balloon or something, and I was going to have a good laugh -- well needless to say I wasn't laughing when I reviewed the tape. I'm using a JVC mini DV, GR-d90 camcorder. I purchased it two days before the sighting.

One Hundred and Fifty Seven Witnesses Speak Out - We Want To Know!

What can cause so many residents in various communities from Kamloops through to the Okanagan and the Kootenays in British Columbia left scratching their heads, wondering what it was they all witnessed. Also many people became very frightened and ran into their homes. The answers to the questions I have been asked have been hard to come by, but we certainly know something extraordinary did take place on July 28, 2003 in the early morning hours.

The story begins with a family who was camping at St. Marys Lake, which is located approximately 12 miles east of Kimberley, British Columbia, Canada. Around 12:45 a.m. the husband and wife decided to do some star gazing as the children were asleep and the night was warm and the sky clear and full of stars. As the couple stood looking into the night sky they observed a very bright, white light heading in a southeasterly direction. The moon sized light was witnessed flying low over top Bootleg Mountain and across the lake and at times it's speed did vary. As it slowed, then picking up speed once again the witnesses watched the light zig zag slightly and at times it seemed to wobble until it was out of sight.

When they arrived back home from their camping trip they contacted the Kimberley RCMP detachment and spoke to a Cpl. Rod Carbonneau to enquire if others had reported seeing the object. Cpl. Rod Carbonneau said the detachment received no calls over this matter. The Cranbrook Airport was also contacted and asked if there were any aircraft in the area of the sighting .... but none were reported in the vicinity the object was observed. For the couple who watched this amazing sight on July 28, 2003 not many answers were fourth coming. A couple of area residents did telephone the folks who watched the event telling them what they also saw that night, and another did make a report to the local newspaper.

From A Few Witnesses To a Flood Of Calls:

A report was made to Peter Davenport at the NUFORC in Seattle, Washington and then the sighting report was forwarded on to me here at HBCC UFO Research (Houston, British Columbia) for a follow-up investigation. What I did not realize at this time was just how large this one case was going to be. From a handful of witnesses the case exploded into a major event where I currently have 157 eye witnesses to something very mysterious.

Two things happened in the early morning hours that Sunday, a large moon sized object was seen by many area residents, and what followed left many folks in communities such as Kamloops, Vernon, Kelowna, Kimberley, Cranbrook and as far as Jaffray, British Columbia scratching their heads wondering what it was they saw. A beam, or ray of white light was observed from Kamloops as far southeast as Jaffray, British Columbia. People who watched the strange and puzzling event said the white light looked as bright as a florescent tube and was arced from horizon to horizon as if one was viewing a rainbow. The beam of light sat almost stationary in this position for approximately an hour before dissipating. Almost everyone who witnessed the beam of white light said they had never seen anything like this before. All said they have watched the northern lights many times, but they commented this was certainly not the northern lights.

A Few Of The Eye Witness Accounts - The Light/Object (July 28, 2003)

A gentleman from Cranbrook, B.C. telephoned me and reported that he and his family were sitting outside and were discussing how bad the forest fires are throughout the southern interior when one of the family members spotted what they thought was a airplane with it's landing lights on and heading in their direction. As the bright white light drew closer to them, the size was growing rapidly and so was the brightness of the light. Before they knew it, the light/object was upon them. The family was so frightened due to the immense size of the light/object being almost at the edge of their property that the children ran into the house screaming. The mother followed closely behind. The father followed his wife and kids into the home, but stopped to take one last glance at whatever it was, and watched it make a 90 degree turn to the south. When I spoke to the dad he told me that they heard not a sound coming from it.

Another report came from a lady who was with a group of people on their holiday at their cabin on one of the local Kimberley, B.C. lakes. She told me they were sitting outside on the deck when one of the guests pointed towards the northwest. Low over one of the mountains came a huge, extremely bright white light traveling slowly in a zig zag pattern heading to the southeast. As it got closer to the resort area, many people became uncomfortable due to how strange the object/light was acting. As it passed straight overhead not a sound was heard. Some of the folks who were there said it was like looking at a full moon on a clear night. It was that big.

Two men in a pick-up truck traveling north along the highway just south of Wycliffe spotted the large bright object flying south. As they watched the large light/object close in on their location they pulled the truck over to the side of the highway, and jumped out of the vehicle to get a better look. Due to it being so low, so bright, and passing directly over top of them the light from the object lit up the highway and surrounding area. Both men stood frozen in their tracks and speechless. Both fellows said it moved quickly in a straight line and made no unusual maneuvers. Again no sound was heard which is remarkable due to how close it was to these men, and all the other witnesses.

The above is a small example of what folks saw that night. There are many more reports here of area residents reporting seeing the same thing.

A Few Of The Eye Witness Accounts - Beam Of Light (July 28, 2003)

One lady said what she saw was very strange, it didn't behave like the northern lights as she noted that the lights danced across the sky, or looked like a curtain of shimmering light. She wondered if the long dry hot weather may have something to do with what she was seeing. But her thoughts changed quickly as she watched the beam of light come from the northwest horizon and impaled itself on one of the local hills and that is where it ended, according to this witness.

A party of four witnesses were out for a few days on one of the areas lakes just outside of Kimberley, B.C. Everyone was having a good time talking and having a few spirits. One of the men who was sitting on a camping chair had just poured himself a drink, when he looked up and said to the rest of the people he was with, "do you see what I am seeing"? Everyone replied, "yes"! The man who asked the question was so surprised at what he was looking at, he poured his drink onto the ground and thought he'd had one to many that evening! They all watched a beam of narrow bright white light run in an arc from horizon to horizon.

First they wondered if it might have been a search light as it was so brigh but they soon ruled this out due to the miles and miles the light covered. Again all these witnesses said this event lasted for approximately one hour before it dissipated.

Some three weeks after people saw the beam of light on July 28, 2003, I had calls from Kelowna and Kimberley British Columbia reporting that the beam of light was back in the night sky. Two Kelowna residents stood on the patio with phone in hand reporting what it was they were seeing. The exact white beam of light sat stationary running from horizon to horizon and was extremely bright.

Four Kimberley residents stood outside watching the beam of light, they reported standing under a street lamp and even with brightness from the street light they could clearly see the beam of light sitting in the dark sky.

Conclusions:

There is no doubt that something very unusual took place on Sunday, July 28, 2003 in the wee hours that morning. What folks saw in all these communities seems to be a mystery. But I have tried to come up with some reasonable answers for all the questions everyone had for me.

Here is what I know:

157 witnesses watched an amazing event unfold on July 28, 2003 (early morning). Some observed the object and others observed the beam of light. (Exact numbers are broken down for how many saw the object or beam of light below. What I didn't say is how many saw both).

31 witnesses observed a huge, bright white low flying light/object.

126 witnesses observed the reported beam of bright white light.

The International Space Station passed over Kimberley, B.C., at 00:24 hrs. on July 27, 2003.

A Fire Ball was observed flying in a southeasterly direction over the West Coast of Canada and the U.S.

Most of the witnesses reported the light/object and beam of light running from the northwest to the southeast.

There would have been a lot of air traffic in some of these areas due to the fire fighting efforts to control the devastating forest fires which raged through some of these areas in the summer of 2003.

Our hearts go out to the people who were effected.

So, the questions that need an be answered are.... What was the strange, large, glowing bright object? Did the object cause the beam of light which sat stationary in the night sky for approximately an hour as the object traveled through the areas?

As for the object, this is certainly a mystery. After a lot of time speaking with witnesses, looking at data on astronomical events, checking on the flight paths, seeing if there were aircraft in these areas flying at the time of the sighting...... I have come up against a brick wall. I have not found any rational explanation for what people saw that night. Fireballs for example as far as I know do not make 90 degree turns to another direction. Also seeing that the object was so low, traveling rather slow in many of the reports and not making a sound. This again is certainly strange. Something else I found rather interesting, was the fact that reported sightings had dropped from my area here in the pacific northwest of British Columbia and reports of unusual crafts of every kind were now being seen and reported by many people residing in the areas from Kamloops, the Okanagan straight through into the Kootenays. Almost every different shape, color and size have been reported to HBCC UFO Research. Did the over 800 forest fires attract visitors from above? I am sure we will never really know the answer to that question..... ?

The beam of white light ended up still being as baffling as the object. When reports started coming in I was sure what everyone was seeing was nothing more than the northern lights. But as the list of witnesses grew, and hearing their comments, I started wondering if there was a connection to these unknowns and the beam of white light. Out of the 126+ witnesses who observed the ray of light running across the night sky from horizon to horizon, only one report was filed saying they believed it to be nothing more than the northern lights. (which I report on below). Everyone else said they have never witnessed anything like in their lives. All said they have watched the northern lights on many occasions, and in their words "this was not the northern lights".

A radio station host put a question on air to the people in the area, asking "has anyone seen strange lights in the night sky?" I was told reports flooded in over this beam of light, and how everyone was left not knowing what it was they saw.

To be fair to all sides, I placed below an email I received from a person who did have some knowledge in astronomy, weather phenomena and the northern lights. One thing I would like to point out, is that what the gentleman viewed was not on the day of this major event.

The email came from a gentleman who, on the evening of July 26, 2003 and morning of July 27, 2003, stated that a sailing regatta was held by the Kelowna Yacht Club. Although the event discussed in the report above took place in the early morning hours of July 28, 2003, I thought the report below was important due to how close all of the events were to one another. Plus I want to give both sides on this case.

Re: July 27, 2003

On the evening of July 26, 2003 and morning of July 27, a sailing regatta was held by the Kelowna Yacht Club. It was an overnight race north up Okanagan Lake centered on 50 degrees N. Latitude and 121.5 degrees west. The race commenced near the yacht club and the course was to be north up Okanagan Lake to Whisky Island and then returning to the Kelowna Yacht Club.

The race was attended by perhaps 100 members of the KYC both as participants and safety patrol boats.

I was one of the participants in this race in the 25 ft sailboat (name deleted by HBCC UFO Research) along with 2 other crew.

The race continued for the entire night of the 26th and almost all of the boats were back into the Kelowna Yacht Club by 10 am of the morning of the 27 of July.

The sky conditions for the night was perfectly clear and very calm without interference from the light of the moon or city lights. After dusk a typical number of earth-orbiting satellites were observed. Around 11:30 pm the first appearances of typical shifty northern lights were visible to the north and north-west and continued to be visible on and off until early morning light.

At the peak of the night's darkness, a stable and continuous band of light was present overhead from horizon to horizon in the East/West direction. I estimate the apparent width of the band of light to be about 10 degrees at the azimuth. No indication of colour was observed in this band, nor did I observe any detail or shadowing effects. This band of light was, however, unusual in it's stability of form and linearity of line.

After this long and slow sailing event, some of the participants commented to me on the display of northern lights.

Nothing that I observed that evening could be attributed to paranormal activity. The display of light was interesting but certainly not out of the ordinary compared to many other displays that I have observed in my interest of amateur astronomy.

On a side note, one of my duties was a weather observer/recorder in the Canadian arctic while on station on the Distant Early Warning Line in 1967 and 1968 and was privileged to observe many spectacular light shows at that time. I am convinced that we observed nothing more or less than the Aurora Borealis and a few earth-bound satellites that night and I hope that my observations might shed some light on the matter.

What folks saw in the early morning hours on July 28, 2003 has left myself and a lot of other people in the UFO field without any solid answers to all of the questions. The one thing I know is that there was an event which took place that left so many residents and myself baffled. It would be nice to be able to supply answers for these mysteries, but all I am left with at this point is another unexplained case!

Also keep in mind that three days later two woman had a missing time experience in Kelowna, British Columbia and the green lights seen on this night were witnessed by others at different locations which backed up their incredible story. Been a while since I last spoke with you, hope all is well and you are keeping busy and enjoying the last but of the summer. Well I wasn't sure if you knew what is and happening in British Columbia or not, but if not British Columbia has made news all over the world for the huge amount of sighting reports that have come into me here at HBCC UFO Research.

Here is one of the major cases I am working on. On July 28, 2003 157 witnesses, who I have talked with watched either a huge object, or a beam of light, or both. The object alone frightened folks so bad they ran into their homes, the beam of light sat stationary following the object for approx: an hour. Never moved !

On July 31, 2003 two women had a missing time event after watching three white light drop from high in the sky. The lights changed from white to a brilliant green. Also beings were witnessed at this event. Now the kicker which makes this a big story is that two different couples at different locations stood watching the green lights, right over where the two women were. matter of fact in one report from a couple they report that the animals were cutting up, and so were the crickets. all of a sudden when the lights were seen everything went silent and the air changed from a sweet scent to a musty cold.

Of course this is just a drop in the bucket for reports. It has become so crazy I am finding it very hard to keep up with it all.

Below is a report on the missing time after the ladies watched the green lights up above them.

Missing Time In Kelowna, British Columbia
The story is real but the names in this report are fictitious for obvious reasons.
Pat - Driver of the car.
Linda - Passenger and friend.
Date: July 31, 2003 (Thursday)
Time: Between 1:00 a.m. & 2:00 a.m.

Today, Monday - August 18, 2003 I received a telephone call from Pat who lives in Kelowna, British Columbia. The lady was very upset and had a time speaking of the event that took place with her and a close female friend of hers. She told me today that a friend had brought over a newspaper article which was run in the Kelowna Capital Newspaper. The headline read "Seeking Witnesses to UFO." which showed up on August 15, 2003.

Here is her story.

She tells that her and her friend are having a very hard time dealing with what took place. Also another couple who live in the area watched an aerial craft hovering close to the location where the two ladies had parked there car at the side of the highway and gave confirmation to the incident, or at least witnessed an object.

At approx: 12:05 a.m., July 31, 2003 the two ladies were playing around on the computer when Linda said, we haven't done any star gazing in a long time....so Pat the lady who contacted me said, you're right, lets go out and do some star gazing. They left home at 12:05 a.m. heading out to an area where they would get a look at the clear night sky without having lights to obscure their view. Pat drove to Glenmore which is north from where she lives and is on the back road heading to Winfield from Kelowna, B.C.

They were driving along and Pat reported that there was quite a bit of traffic for that time of the night but after they decided to stop just off to the side of the road to see what they might notice, the traffic stopped coming. There was not a light from any vehicles, not anything other than a very dark stretch of road. Pat grabbed her flashlight and shone it into the sky as she has done this in the past. Her friend Linda has the binoculars on the other side of the car scanning the starry night sky. They were there only a minute out of the car when her Linda said, this is really strange. There are three stars up in the sky and formed into a triangle shape. All three lights at this time were solid white. Both ladies watched as the three white lights started moving, but moving together. The witness with the binoculars said stars don't do that, and Pat replies, of course not..... as she thought it may have been a plane or something. Linda replies, no this is not a plane as the lights were changing color to a neon green and the object had stopped and hovered just ahead of their car.

Pat turned the headlights off, and shone her flashlight down the road in front of her car. They were worrying about animals such as a bear, cougars, etc.. being around in this isolated area. As she shone the light up the road both of the women spotted something which frightened them a lot. Five sets of eyes staring at approx: 40 feet away from them. As frightened as they were, their first thoughts were of coyotes or some other wild animal, but she said once you really look your brain takes it in.

Pat describes the creatures as being roughly four feet tall, dark gray shoulders and coming towards the women. Pat said "I was so scared I could hardly talk and could hardly breathe". She yelled to her friend Linda, "get in the car, get in the car". Pat said they both scrambled to get back into the vehicle but she said it was like moving through quicksand and it felt horrible. Being so terrified and trying to move as fast as they possibly could, it felt as if everything was slowing down around them.

Once they were both back in the car, Pat tried to turn the ignition on so she could get the power windows up. But all the electrics on the car was failing. The dome light, headlights were going off and on, on their own and as she said. "Everything was going nuts" !

Finally the car started and they turned around in the middle of the road and sped off towards home and as they traveled along they noticed a fair bit of traffic coming in their direction. (Pat commented to me, where was all the traffic when all this was happening?) As they drove along the road, Pat said to Linda, "this is the weirdest thing. "She said I feel like electricity, my whole body is tingling just like I was zapped by a charge from a battery". When Linda heard this, she said, "I didn't want to say anything to you as you might think I was nuts, but I am feeling the same. As if I was hit by an electrical charge." As Linda was explaining how she felt, and facing Pat she glanced at the clock in car and said, "Jesus Pat, look at the time" ! Pat said what are you talking about ? Linda said we were only stopped and out of the car for a few minutes at the most, and the time of the car's clock reads an extra 25 minutes of time.

As they drove along and close to home they both discussed it and wondered if they had imagined it all.

As they were just about home, they turned onto Baker Street which is covered in darkness next to a field. All of a sudden they saw this bright, glowing neon green ball low in the sky. The object started moving to the right, "stop", left, "stop", right, "stop", left, "stop" and then it started to move away until the ladies car came to a halt, and so did the object. Before they knew it, the ball of green light started heading towards them at a high rate of speed and hovered high above their car. At this point they just wanted to get to their home and be as far away from whatever it was as possible.

The driver sped off quickly again and they headed into an orchard which was very close by. They thought they would not be seen hiding amongst the trees, plus there was no lighting in this area to reveal their position. Pat looked at her friend and said, "they will never find us here". Both women are sitting in the car trying to get themselves together as the driver said she was losing it at this point. Only after a very short time after arriving in the orchard Linda said, Pat you better look out the front windscreen and look up slightly. We don't have just one green ball of light, there are now three, glowing green objects. The way the green lights were in the sky, it looked as if the they formed a triangle formation and all moving now together. After a short period of time each of the green lights moved away in different directions.

(HBCC UFO asked if the witness could give some idea of how large the green lights were. The witness told me each of the lights were approx: half the size of a full moon). After seeing the lights flying off into different directions the ladies raced home as quickly as they possibly could.

Once safe at home, both ladies shaken, they tried to come up with some reasonable explanation for what just happened. They tried to put it out of their minds but that was impossible !!!!

Later on both ladies turned in for the night and when they woke up in the morning, Pat discovered a large bruise on her left breast and another on the bottom of her foot. She did not know how they got there but she did know they were extremely painful.....

As she sat drinking a cup of coffee Linda finally got up and was walking down the hall towards the kitchen when she said, "god, good morning - do I feel rough this morning". After Linda finished saying that ....Pat watched as blood came pouring from Linda's nose. Pat jumped up, ran and grabbed a towel. Linda also commented that she was having a lot of pain in her lower back area. She asked Pat to have a look to see if there was anything that could be seen. So she looked and gasped, there was a large circle burned into her skin and was located in the middle, lower back area (tail bone). Also bruises were found on Linda's body as well, some of them appeared to look like finger marks and there were three of them on each thigh. Both women at this point were shocked, upset and very frightened.

Linda, who was up visiting from the Abbotsford ended her holiday and headed back home. Two days after being home in Abbotsford, B.C. she went to consult her family doctor due to still experiencing the terrible pain which was originating from her lower back, plus it was not getting any better. Her doctor examined her, and her injury to her back, the doctor said if I didn't know any better I would say you have a radiation burn. He was of course referring to the burn mark on Linda's back. The doctor is still trying to heal this mark on her back, as something had burned right through the outer layer of this ladies skin.

(HBCC UFO Note:I will be keeping in contact with the witness to this event and hope I may be able to help in some small way).

Update to this Story:

On the night this frightening experience took place, another couple who couldn't sleep decided to go out for a walk on the warm evening. They looked up at times into the night sky, and all of a sudden they noticed a bright glowing neon colored light. The couple also added that the light was moving in the strangest way, by coming to a complete stop, moving again, stopping and then moved off very quickly. The light was seen in the same vicinity where the ladies had been stopped at the side of the road.

This sounds like it gives confirmation to what the ladies saw that night.

HBCC UFO Research Foot note: I would recommend to anyone finding such marks as described here in this report, that they consult a professional, such as their family doctor. One has to remember that they do not have to walk in to the doctor's office and make claims of missing time, or possible abduction. Let you doctor come up with the answers. Connection With Missing Time Experience

This witness had no idea about the missing time event.

I had a telephone call from a lady who lives in Kelowna, British Columbia today, August 26, 2003. She explained that a friend had cut out an article which ran in the Kelowna Capital Newspaper about a UFO Investigator Seeking Witnesses To A UFO Sighting.

The lady told me she saw an unusual object in the night sky on July 31, 2003. She also told me she has a habit of glancing up into the sky as she has a beautiful view of the stars and it is very dark in her area. On this night the woman had already turned in, but couldn't sleep due to how warm it was in her home. The lady got up out of bed and went outside for some weird reason and when outside the lady looked towards the south. As the witness sat out looking around she spotted something, her thoughts were there shouldn't be any airplanes out here at this time of night, but there was something very strange. She watched an object traveling from east to west and described the object as being almond in shape and a luminous green in color. The witness also reports only seeing one green light.

The lady reports that from their location, which was not at all far away from the two ladies who experienced the missing time, something very strange took place. She brought out her camera to take some pictures, but as she tried to take her photos, the camera would not work. It went dead! Also she reports that the evening was warm, and she could hear coyotes cutting up. But soon they became silent, and so did everything else around them including the crickets which were making some noise. She said it was if someone had clicked off a switch. The air went from a nice sweet smelling night to a musty cold in this dead silence.

Also this witness said that two nights ago a person telephoned the radio station (CKOV) on an open line call in program and reported seeing a streak of light, and at the front of this streak a round ball was noted and the caller reported "it" had landed somewhere in South East Kelowna in the exact area where the green object had been witnessed, also where the two ladies had their missing time event.

HBCC UFO Note: This sighting is very, very important due to the date of this sighting, the time it was witnessed, the color which was green and the shape, which is reported here to be almond in shape. Also what has me all excited over it, is due to the location where the object was observed, which was where the two ladies watched the beings on the side of the highway and the green lights, then experienced the missing time. There will be more coming on this case, also I have interviewed the second witness who had the missing time on July 31, 2003 and will be writing up the report really quick. Before I forget, I will be contacting CKOV in hopes of getting some information, and if not maybe I may get lucky and have them request that this witness to the streak of light get a hold of me.

New York Thruway Northbound Football Field Sized Boomerang (UFO)

Date: 1975 Time: Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was a truck driver on a trip from NYC to Albany. The fastest way was to take the thruway upstate. As I was driving I noticed that I really couldn't get much on the CB and the AM radio was more static than anything else.

Sometime around 8:30 or so I started to notice that there were occasional cars pulled off to the side of the road and even some in the median.

As I pulled under an overpass I saw this thing floating over the road about 100 feet above the roadbed. I slammed on the brakes and almost jackknifed right there!

It was approximately the size of a high school football field, but not quite as wide. It had lights on each end and in the middle with blue square lights all across the back end of the wings.

I managed to get out of the cab of the truck and was standing in front of my truck looking up at it when a NY State Trooper pulled up and got out of his cruiser. He and I stood there for maybe two or three minutes just looking up. We noticed that there was absolutely no sound at all and that it didn't fluctuate or "flutter" and that it just floated in the air. We saw structure, that is we saw the body of the vehicle. No rivets or seams, just the silver/grey color of the body. The trooper called out to me and asked if I was seeing the same thing he was and I assured him that I was indeed seeing the same thing.

Then suddenly it moved over the Hudson River, made a slight turn kind of facing up, and then the next second - literally one second - it was gone.

That's it. Total time was about 5 minutes, no more.

The CB radio came back and so did the AM radio. From there all the way up to Albany I tried to make people believe that I saw what I saw. No one believed me then and I don't think anyone believes me now. Still, I saw it. I'll never forget it. From time to time I have a dream that I'm seeing it again. But only in a dream.

Additional Information:

Q. - Can you please describe the weather conditions at the time of the sighting. Was it Overcast? Raining? A clear night? Full moon?

A. - "From what I can remember, it was fairly clear. I don't remember the moon at all, but I think that it was in the sky."

Q. - In what part of the sky was the UFO located? North, South, East, West? On the horizon or straight overhead or somewhere in between?

A. - "I was headed north and it was just above me. The trooper and I stood right underneath the thing."

Q. - Can you please describe the area in which you made the sighting. Is it near an airport? An Air Force Base? A military or research installation of any kind?

A. - "There weren't any airports around. I don't think I saw any air traffic at all before I saw it."

Q. - The lights that were located on the ends, could you tell me what color these were please ?

A. - "The lights on the ends were blueish/white and were steady in brightness. They were kind of like the new halogen lights on some of the newer cars."

Q. - Also what color was the light that was in the middle of the craft ?

A. - "Almost the same color as the ones on the end, but brighter."

Q. - Seeing the craft so was so low to the ground, did you feel anything unusual from it. Dizziness or a feeling of being light headed ? Or anything else that you found out of the norm ?

A. - "This going to sound a little weird, but we (the trooper and I) both felt light on our feet."

At the time of the sighting, or just afterwards, did you happen to notice any aircraft showing up in the skies ? if so did they follow the same flight path that the object took ?

A. - "I only saw one airplane about 5 or 10 minutes later. It was a small, single-engine Cessna or Piper. I don't think it sat more than 4 people, it was that small."

Q. - Was there any other kind of light source coming from the craft ?

A. - "No, I didn't see any portholes or windows on it."

Moscow, Russia Three Triangles Hovering Over Lake

This UFO sighting happened about a few years ago. My mother and uncle went fishing somewhere over 50 miles from Moscow, Russia. I was born there, and now we live in California. It happened by midnight, on the 2nd day they were staying by a huge lake. My uncle went in the tent to get something, and my mom decided to take a walk along the lake, which was about 20 feet away from the tent, when she saw some strange triangles hovering in the air above the lake. They emitted these strange bright lights, and moved in various directions above the lake. There was more than 3 triangles. My mom stood there for a few minutes, stunned, then ran back to the tent and called my uncle. By the time they got to the spot my mom was standing at, the UFOs were gone.

Another UFO sighting happened in 2003, when my grandparents went to France due to a business deal. They drove in their car all the way there. On the way back, once they entered the freeway, my grandmother noticed a huge strange object, similar to the ones my mom saw at the lake. It was 10 times larger than a Boeing 777 aircraft! It hovered in midair for about 7 minutes, emitting different lights like red and green. It disappeared as it had appeared.

Swan Lake, B.C. Ball Of Orange Light

Date: 2003 Time: 11:00 p.m.

About a year before, I observed a ball of orange light travelling under rain clouds, maybe only two hundred feet at a very rapid rate, south down the valley over Swan Lake, just North of Vernon, BC. It traveled over Vernon, then angled to the right, out of sight. It was around 11:00 p.m.

My rational explanation at the time was that it was the jet nozzle of a smallish jet aircraft, travelling without running lights - for what ever reason. There seemed to be a small orange trail from the ball, suggesting a jet thrust/burn. I didn't associate it with anything exra-terrestrial.
