HOME LISTEN NOW! PODCASTS SHOP NOW! SEARCH SITE CONTACT US HELP

The following instructions have been tested by our webmaster, using a portable media player device and its associated PC-based media management software. These instructions assume that you have already installed your portable media player management software, for example the IPOD ITunes software, on your PC or MAC. If you find that these instructions do not work for you, please contact us at jerry@jerrypippin.com.

On any of our pages that contain audio program content, you will see one or more custom Windows Media Player interfaces like the one shown below:

You can easily use this interface to provide yourself with PODCASTs of any of the many Jerry Pippin Show programs available on our site via your IPOD or any other portable digital media player. Just follow these few simple instructions, and then you can enjoy the freedom of portable anytime, anywhere PODCAST listening to the Jerry Pippin Show:

  1. If your portable digital media player supports WMA files directly or via conversion, we invite you to use the Windows Media Player interface above to try out the following instructions. This will download one of our very interesting half hour to one hour long shows to your PC and then to your portable digital media player.

  2. To save the program associated with our Windows Media Player interface (shown above) for use on your IPOD, or other similar portable audio file players on a PC, right click on the second red bar, and then select the command Save Target As. On a MAC ctrl+click on the second red bar and select the Download Link to Disk command. This action will initiate the download of either a WMA or MP3 audio file to your computer. The icon will be displayed below the second red bar on the player interface shown above for any of our programming posted in MP3 format.

  3. Repeat instruction #2 for all the audio files on any of our site pages that you wish to capture for use on your portable audio file player. Remember to which folder you download files. You will need this folder name for the next steps.

  4. If the files you have downloaded are in MP3 format, skip this instruction. Most portable media players, including MAC IPOD models using ITunes Software Version 4.9 or higher, support the playing of either WMA or player management software AAC converted WMA audio files. If your device does not support this feature, WMA to MP3 format converter software can be purchased online, or in a store, and installed on your PC or MAC.  After you have converted your files to MP3 format, proceed with following the rest of these instructions.

  5. Next, add any of our downloaded audio files to your PC or MAC based IPOD, or other portable audio file player media management software play list via its Import or Add to Playlist command. See the instructions of your portable player media management software for specific command use details. You do not need to play the file in any media player to perform this operation.

  6. Using your portable player media management software interface, you can now initiate the download of selected, or of all new, files that appear in your play list to your portable player. See the instructions of your portable player media management software for details.

  7. You may also play the downloaded file on your PC via the Media Player File/Open command, as well.
